Christmas Time without you Mum
December for most is full of cheer
Santa's coming it's that time of year
Christmas lists, gifts wrapped up
Trees and lights as the deckies go up
For the last 4 years and forever more
Christmas for me, will be the same no more
I paint on a smile, I still buy the gifts
and the tree that goes up just the same
Christmas was your favourite time of year
and it'll never be the same without you here
there's that vacant space no one can fill
but we have our memories of Christmas with you
A Christmas wish for me that would be
to have you here again with me
But this is a wish which Santa can't fill
The impossible task no one can fulfil
The memories you left I cherish with love
you walk beside us in spirit with love
I know you watch over us keeping us strong
you remain in our hearts that's where you belong <3
